NGC
- Block 1&2 gas resources have historicaly been divided between ALNG and an old Gas Project Consortium(GPC) led by ENI.
- ALNG NAG fields- Quiluma,, Maboqueiro, Atum, Polvo, Engia were awarded to ALNG under the ALNG Investment Contract.
- ENI and Sonangol proposed to consolidate ALNG NAG and old GPC fields into a "New Gas Consortium", operated by ENI, that would sell gas to ALNG under an improved tax structure.
•ALNG gas supply and Q&M development Project
Buisness case
- ALNG plant has historically operated at 70% capacity, and there is a significant decrease in anticipated utilization going forward. As such a portfolio of supply alternatives, including NAG, is required to approach a "plant full" target, otherwise there is a significant gap post-2021.
ALNG gas supply profiles
Additional supply alternatives
- Blowdowns from Nemba and Sanha will add 2.9 TCF of gas, reducing supply gap to 3.6 TCF
- NAG from Q&M project will contribute an additional 1.4 TCF starting in 2022, with additional resource available from future NAG developments
