The SASBU Leadership Development Program aims at accelerating the development of Leadership skills within the workforce with little or no previous relevant work experience to succeed in their role as well as preparing them to take on future leadership role in the organization. The intent is to expose employees with interest in leadership roles in the future rather than wait for the role to start training or leaders that require development to become more effective leaders.

Upon Completion of the program participants will be able to:

• Gain leadership skills to better lead and manage a group of peopl.
• Gain an understanding on managing conflict within a team​.
• Gain fluency in different subjects including Diversity & Inclusion and We Lead Behaviors
• Get an immunization review.
• Obtain required and recommended vaccines for your destination.
• Grow business acumen to support the Organizational performance through better communication and collaboration​.

training format

• 25 Candidates per year​
• Selected candidates to complete the program in 7-10 years (succession Plans and PDC Selection).
• Candidates to complete 3 to 5 trainings per year (based on gap identified)
• Employee can select any trainings. No compulsory to complete all.
• Trainings to set to be instructor lead, computer based, videos, webinar and through on-the-job training.
• Selection Process is set through departmental PDC discussion and succession plan linkage.

• SASBU Leadership Forum (SLF): Updated with case studies and leader engagement based on Chevron and SASBU Key drivers​.
• SASBU Leaders Dialogue: a forum where employees can have an hour and half engagement conversation with company leaders to discuss important and updated topics related to the oil & gas industry and the company
